- 笛吹川石和鸕鶿捕魚活動於 7 至 8 月的暑假期間舉行，一般的鸕鶿捕魚是由鵜匠在小船上操縱數隻鸕鶿捕魚，而石和鸕鶿捕魚則由鵜匠駕馭 1 隻鸕鶿進入淺灘，在水中行走捕魚，從平安時代持續至今 800 多年的傳統「徒歩鸕鶿捕魚」，全日本只有「笛吹川石和鸕鶿捕魚」採用此一獨特技法，活動可以免費入場，還可付費進行『鵜匠體驗』，日本共 12 處有鸕鶿捕魚的地區中，唯一提供「鵜匠體驗」的地方，因此相當受歡迎。鸕鶿捕魚結束後，還有 10 分鐘左右的「石和溫泉連夜煙花大會」，供遊客欣賞 The Fuefuki River cormorant fishing is called a walking cormorant, and unlike the style of manipulating a few cormorants in a small boat that is often seen in other places, it is a cormorant that is performed while walking in the river and manipulating one cormorant. Walking cormorants are a summer tradition of Ishiwa Onsen, which is rare in Japan, where cormorants manipulate cormorants while walking along the river without boarding a boat. You can participate in the “cormorant fishing experience” where you can actually become a cormorant fisherman. In addition, you can enjoy “Isawa Onsen Ukai Fireworks” for 10 minutes every night after the Ukai demonstration on the same day as Ukai. In addition, among the 12 cormorant fishing sites nationwide, we are the only one to offer a “ cormorant fishing experience”
