高山社遺址 Takayama-sha Sericulture School – 世界遺産〔遗产〕World Heritage - 日本觀光旅遊景點 (观光旅游景点) Japan Sightseeing Spots / 交通 Transportation (Traffic)

高山長五郎先生為培育蠶繭創造最佳環境，在兩層樓高的建築中，裝設許多窗戶及挑高屋頂以利通風，並使用火爐控制溫度，研發出對換氣和溫濕度的養蠶新技術。『清溫育』是集成提高蠶室溫度的「溫暖育」和重視換氣的「清涼育」優點的養蠶方法，爲了加以推廣，於 1884 年開設「高山社」養蠶教育機構，『清溫育』也成爲日本近代的標準養蠶法。富岡製絲廠推行蠶繭改良運動時，高山社協助參與外國蠶種與一代雜交種的試驗性飼育，以及對農家的飼育指導。作為培育人才的學校，高山社對絲綢業進步所做的貢獻受到肯定，與富岡製絲廠於 2014 年登錄世界文化遺產 Chogoro Takayama perfected the modern sericultural technique called Seion-iku, featuring ventilation and temperature control. Seion-iku was perfected by Chogoro Takayama and is a modern sericulture technique which combined “Ondan-iku”, which focuses on warming the room, and “Seiryo-iku”, which focuses on ventilation. In Seion-iku, temperature and humidity are controlled to produce ideal conditions for the raising of silkworm cocoons by using a two storied building with lots of windows and a raised roof for good ventilation as well as fireplaces. As a result, the method became national standard for modern sericultural technology. This facility, with Tomioka Silk Mill, was registered as the world heritage in 2014.
