- 弘前城天守閣由位於東南角的箭樓 (辰已櫓) 改造而成，是東北地區僅存江戶時代建造的天守閣，了天守閣外還有 3 座箭樓、5 個城門、三重護城河，追手門等 Hirosaki Castle’s keep was converted from the arrow tower (Tatsumi-yagura) located in the southeast corner. It is the only remaining Edo-period castle keep in the Tohoku region. In addition to the keep, there are 3 arrow towers, 5 gates, a triple moat, and the Oite Gate, among other features.
