  • 下呂溫泉合掌村是個以國家指定的重要民族文化財產「舊大戶家住宅」為首,重現白川鄉等等十多棟合掌村式建築的民家,將其易地重建,包括有記載當時生活狀況的野外博物館的觀光景點。村內由「合掌里」與「歲時記森林」兩區域構成,展現了飛驒的生活及文化,各種植栽可以感受到日本的四季變化 A gassho (thatched) village of 10 houses, transferred from Shirakawa-go and elsewhere to recreate the landscape of Japan as it once was. The village consists of two zones, “Gassho no Sato” and “Saijiki no Mori”, each showing aspects of the culture and way of life of the Hida region. Through the many wild and cultivated plants, visitors can really feel the four seasons of Japan.
  • 村內有被註冊為國家文化資產的舊岩崎家 (民俗資料館)、舊遠山家 (板倉),公開展示其內部構造。另外還有陶藝體驗與製作和紙體驗工房、能享用飛驒美食的餐廳、欣賞櫻花與紅葉的里山 (歲時記之森),仍留有飛驒人純樸心意的合掌村,是座既溫柔又溫馨的「心之故鄉」 At Gero Onsen Gassho-mura, 10 gassho-zukuri (thatched) houses have been transferred from places like Shirakawa-go to form a precious outdoor museum which recreates a mountain settlement from former times, and offers a glimpse into what life might have been like for its inhabitants. Among the structures transferred is the Odo House, a nationally designated Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property. The village is also home to the Iwasaki House (a folk museum) and the Toyama House with Itakura storehouse. Both of these nationally registered Tangible Cultural Properties are open to the public. Other attractions include workshops where you can try your hand at making ceramic art, patterned washi (Japanese paper) and other traditional crafts, a restaurant where you can savor the flavors of Hida, and “Saijiki no Mori”, a forest of Japanese cherry blossom and maple trees on a hill overlooking the village. Gassho-mura is a warm and friendly “village with a heart”, where the simple spirit of the people of Hida lives on.

合掌里 Gassho no Sato

  • 是一個以重現十棟「舊大戶屋住宅」合掌式聚落,並且有展示農具與民生用品的民俗資料館的景點,可以親身體驗在合掌聚落的生活及文化 “Gassho no Sato” recreates a settlement of 10 gassho-zukuri (thatched) buildings, centered around the Important Cultural Property “Odo House”, and the Folklore Museum’s exhibits of agricultural and other folk tools allow visitors to experience the culture and way of life of a gassho village up close.

国指定重要文化財 Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property

  • 旧大戸家住宅 Former Odo Family Residence
  • 根據記載,舊大戶家住宅是 1833 至 1846 年間耗時 13 年建造的合掌屋,其結構上採用懸山頂式的茅葺屋頂,橫寬 21 m、進深 12.3 m、高 13 m,是合掌造中的最大的建物 A fine example of a gabled thatched roof building. The structure is 21 m wide, 12.3 m long and 13 m high. The ridge tag declares that the construction of “Odo House” took 13 years, from 1833 to 1846, a rather long time.
  • 這棟房屋原址位於白川村御母衣,被認為是白川の合掌家屋保存最完好的,現已移築至下呂市の下呂温泉合掌村,並對外開放 Originally located in Miboro, Shirakawa Village, this house is considered the finest example of a gassho-zukuri (thatched-roof) house in Shirakawa. It has now been relocated to the Gassho Village in Gero Onsen, Gero City, and is open to the public.

国登錄有形文化財 Nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property

  • 1. 旧遠山家住宅板倉 The Tohyama House, Itakura (Plank Storehouse)
  • 1810 年所建之木造倉庫,用兩層木板造成牆壁因此稱之為板倉,2F 的地板與橫木為 1F 的天花板的「根太天井」為養蠶農家的傳統建築方式 The Tohyama House, Itakura, is a wooden storehouse built in 1810. The walls are covered with wooden planks, giving the building its name. The floorboards and cross beams of the second floor are the ceiling of the first floor. This so-called “neda ceiling” shows the construction style used for silk worm farms.
  • 2. 旧岩崎家 Iwasaki House (民俗資料館 Folklore Museum)
  • 江戶中期的建築,白川鄉的合掌式建築,屋頂的三角形為側面是「平入」,建築物的三角部分是家的正面為「妻入」,是五箇山傳統的合掌式建築” Iwasaki House” was constructed the form of its gabled thatched roof in the middle of the Edo period. The gassho-zukuri style of Shirakawa-go employs “hirairi”, in which the walls under the triangular part of the roof are the sides of the house and the entrance is in one of the sides parallel to the ridge. The style is said to be traditional of Gokayama gassho houses.

竹原文楽記念館 Takehara Puppet Theater Memorial House

  • 一人操控一百個以上的娃娃的人形歌舞伎「竹原文樂」以及展示表演者洞奧一郎的相關資訊 Exhibits related to the puppeteer Ichiro Horaoku, who controlled more than 100 puppets to create the one-man puppet kabuki theater, “Takehara Bunraku”.

合掌の足湯 Gassho no Ashiyu

歲時記森林 Sajiki no Mori

  • 是一座有櫻花和紅葉的山,擁有益田建築的「萬古庵」、倉庫、水車小屋、青蛙神社和梯田,還有受歡迎的 175 m 刺激的「森林滑梯」。在森林散步,用五感去感受季節的轉換吧 “Sajiki no Mori” is a village hill covered with a forest of cherry blossom and maple trees, in which can be found “Banko-an” (built in the Masuda style), a storehouse, a waterwheel, Kaeru Shrine, terraced paddy fields and more. There is also the popular 175-meter slide “Mori no Suberidai”. You can feel the changing seasons with all five senses while strolling around the forest.

和紙的製作體驗 Japanese Papermaking

  • 可體驗舊時的和紙製作以及在所製作的和紙上作畫的體驗。在明信片和色紙的製程中,於染上顏色的構樹紙漿上作畫即是所謂的「繪漉」。製作時間上,各項作品皆需花上 1 小時左右。不論哪一種都是非常棒的伴手禮,皆可成為美好回憶 A chance to have a go at making traditional washi (Japanese paper). You can try your hand at “esuki”, the process of creating pictures on postcards and shikishi boards using colored “kozo” (Japanese tissue paper). From start to finish, the whole experience takes about one hour. What could be a better memento and more marvelous souvenir than something you made for yourself?
