- 1994 年為了紀念道後溫泉本館的 100 週年，設立於道後溫泉站前的放生園。8:00 – 22:00 之間，每小時 (週六、周日、國定假日和特別期間為每 30 分) 時鐘本體會隨著音樂上升。夏目漱石的「少爺」是以松山和道後溫泉為舞台的小說，在這個故事當中的登場人物會跟著時鐘一同出現，鐘的外觀則是以道後溫泉本館的振鷺閣為原型 To mark the 100th anniversary of Dogo Onsen Honkan, the Botchan Karakuri Clock was built in the Hojoen plaza in front of Dogo Onsen Station. On the hour between 8:00 and 22:00, the Karakuri Clock comes to life, presenting characters and scenes from Soseki Natsume’s novel Botchan set in Matsuyama and Dogo. The clock is modeled on the Shinrokaku of Dogo Onsen Honkan.
- 機關鐘旁邊還有 1 個利用道後温泉の源泉的人氣「足湯」 Next to the Karakuri clock, there is also a “footbath” that uses the source of Dogo Onsen, making it a popular spot.
