- 輪島朝市歴史悠久，文獻紀載平安時代已經建立，有超過 1,000 年以上的歴史，輪島朝市是在石川縣輪島市舉辦的朝市，石川縣的輪島朝市、佐賀縣唐津市的呼子朝市與岐阜縣的高山朝市並稱為日本三大朝市 Its origin dates back to the Heian period, when people started bartering for seafood and vegetables on the local shrine’s festival days. Since then, the market has existed for about 1,000 years, and has become a sightseeing spot for visitors to Noto. Wajima in Ishikawa Prefecture, is a port city facing the Sea of Japan, situated on the Noto Peninsula. This morning market is considered to be one of the three biggest markets in Japan, along with markets in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture and Yobuko City, Saga Prefecture.
- 輪島朝市被稱為『朝市街』，每天早晨在 360 m 的商店街上、現場超過 200 個攤位，並有許多顧客。輪島朝市的生鮮魚類種類繁多，海產及海鮮類，是鮑魚、加能蟹、松葉蟹等應有盡有 Wajima’s Morning Market (Asaichi in Japanese) is the city’s most famous attraction. The pleasant pedestrian street in the city center is lined with vendors selling various goods, including fresh seafood and product. Over 200 stalls sell seasonal seafood, farm product and crafts along Honmachi Street (Morning Market Street) from 8:00 am until noon every day. The vendors are mostly local female divers and farmers. Many of the goods do not have a price tag, and prices are decided through negotiation between the seller and buyer.
