  • 一座野外博物館,移築復原市内 7 棟伝統的建造物,其中包括據稱是市内最古の民家「旧蓮見家住宅」,主要目的在収集・保存・展示和民俗資料,尤其在活用生産・生活用具 The Urawa Museum of Life and Folk Houses is an open-air museum that has relocated and restored seven traditional buildings in the city, including the “Former Hasumi Family Residence,” said to be the oldest private house in the city. Its main purpose is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and utilize folk materials, primarily focusing on production and daily life tools.

a. 旧浦和市農業協同組合三室支所倉庫 Former Urawa City Agricultural Cooperative Association Mimuro Branch Warehouse (浦和くらしの博物館民家園展示棟 Urawa Museum of Life and Folk Houses Exhibition Hall)

  • 国登録有形文化財 Nationally Registered Tangible Cultural Property
  • 這座倉庫歷史悠久,其比例協調的設計融合了和洋折衷建築風格 This particular warehouse is quite old and boasts a well-proportioned design that blends Japanese and Western architectural styles.
  • 目前是浦和生活博物館的展覽館,用於舉辦常設展覽和小型展覽,同時也是存放文件和其他資料等の収蔵棟 Currently, it serves as an exhibition building for the Urawa Museum of Living, hosting permanent and mini-exhibitions, as well as a storage facility for documents and other materials.

b. 旧野口家住宅 Former Noguchi Family Residence

  • 建物の建設年代據信約為 1858 年,為四坡屋頂茅葺の建物 The building’s construction date is believed to be around 1858. It is a thatched-roof building with a hipped roof.

c. 旧蓮見家住宅 Former Hasumi Family Residence

  • 構造手法推定建於江戶時代中期 18 世紀の前半,四坡茅葺屋頂の建物,規模較小,保留了許多古民家的特徵,據信是現在埼玉市域最古老的民家 Its structural techniques suggest it dates to the mid-Edo period, specifically the first half of the 18th century. It is a hip-roofed, thatched-roof building. It is small in scale, retains many of the characteristics of an old farmhouse, and is believed to be the oldest farmhouse remaining in the Saitama City area.

d. 旧綿貫家住宅 Former Watanuki Family Residence

  • 一棟兩層樓的建築,屋頂為山牆式,入口平坦,面向旧中山道 It is a two-story, gable-roofed building with a flat entrance facing the old Nakasendo road.

e. 旧高野家住宅 Former Takano Family Residence

  • 建築部材的使用和建築工法,推測它建於江戶時代末期的安政年間,浦和宿中山道現存最古老的商家建物 The finish of the materials and the construction methods suggest that it was built during the Ansei era at the end of the Edo period. It is the oldest existing merchant house on the Nakasendo road in Urawa-juku.

f. 旧武笠家表門 Former Mukasa Family Residence Main Gate

  • 一棟四坡屋頂的茅葺長屋門 It is a hip-roofed, thatched-roof nagaya-mon.

g. 旧中島家穀櫃 Former Nakajima Family Residence Grain Storage

  • 結構包括地基、由過樑和橫樑加強的立柱以及外伸梁。穀倉分為三個部分,開口部採用嵌入式木板,兩側和背面則設有水平木板,這種設計使得糧倉在多濕環境下能夠密封,在乾燥期又能保持良好的通風,因此非常適合穀物の保存,江戶時代許多糧倉採用類似的結構,是當時該地域廣泛使用的貯穀方法的珍貴建物 The structure consists of a foundation, pillars reinforced with lintels and crossbeams, and a projecting beam. It is divided into three sections, with drop-in boards at the openings and horizontal boards on both sides and the back. This design allows for airtight sealing in humid conditions and good ventilation in dry seasons, making it ideal for grain storage. Many Edo-period storehouses (gogura) also had a similar structure, making this building a valuable example of a grain storage method widely used in this region.

h. 旧丸山稲荷社本殿 Former Maruyama Inari Shrine Main Hall

  • 一座由村の木匠而非神社木匠建造的神社本殿 This is a shrine main hall built by a village carpenter, not a shrine carpenter.
