- 高野家在江戸時代栽培薬用植物「甘草」供應幕府,因此長期以來被稱為「甘草屋敷」The Takano family cultivated licorice, a medicinal plant, and supplied it to the shogunate during the Edo period, and has long been known as the ” Kanzo Yashiki.”
- 江戸時代後期の民家和莊園布局,如今已成為一座歴史公園 The residence is a historical park that preserves the layout of a late Edo period farmhouse and estate. 其顯著特徵是山牆屋頂中央部的兩層突出式屋頂,原先是茅葺屋頂 (現在銅板葺) A distinctive feature is the two-tiered projecting roof in the center of the gabled roof, which was originally thatched (now covered with copper plates).
