國指定重要文化財 Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property
- a. 主屋 Main House (本邸 Omoya)
- 2 層樓的倉庫式邸宅，1 樓設有厚重的豎向格柵，屋脊高聳，鋪設鬼瓦，外牆採用黑色灰泥粉刷 The two-story residence has a thick vertical lattice the front of the first floor, a huge ridge of roof tile and Onigawara (one kind of roof tile), and a black plaster dozo structure.
- b. 表門 Omotemon (大門 Main Gate)
- 其風格為薬医門形式，由粗壯的方形立柱支撐，柱頂為雙層橫梁，橫樑下方為屋脊 The gate is in the “Yakuimon” style, with two tiers of braces on top of thick square pillars to support the door frame.
- c. 玄関及び座敷 Entrance Hall (Genkan) & Tatami Room
- 連接接待處和服務區的兩條走廊、鑲木地板、枝形吊燈以及其他裝飾，都是為當時的貴賓設計的 The two corridors separating the reception and service areas, wooden mosaic flooring , chandeliers, and other elements were designed to host the VIPs of that time..
- d. 広間 Banquets Hall (Hiroma)
- 地面明顯高於庭園，這是其顯著特徵之一，東西面幾乎全是開口部，柱子極少，意圖營造一個開放的空間，使景色盡收眼底 There are two remarkable points of this banquet hall. One is the floor level was built higher then water’s surface of the pond for can be look down spectacular view of the pond garden. Another is that only a few columns were used to ensure an open landscape.
- e. 洋館 Western-style Building (Youkan)
- 建築外觀和內裝均為西式風格，但桁架結構為日式風格，隔間通常採用方形立柱，但也曾使用過原木立柱，展現了洋風建築過渡時期的風貌 Although the exterior and interior are Western-style, the roof structure is a Japanese-style, with “Gassho-zukuri” (a type of wooden frame) similar to a Western-style structure attached only in the corner line direction. The use of log columns instead of the formal square columns shows the transition period of Western-style architecture.
- f. 玉突場 Tamatsukiba (英式撞球廳 Cue-ball Saloon)
- 昭和初期，木質部分被塗装 2 種不同的薄黄和濃黄色，最初，這裡安裝了 2 台撞球桌，該建築的一大特色是，為了減少震動，地基一直延伸到地板下方 The wood parts were repainted in light and dark yellow in the early Showa era. The remarkable point of this building is there are short post under the floor to support the billiard table and dampen vibrations.
- 據我們所知，目前唯一独立於其他建築外，專門用於撞球的専用建物是岩崎邸撞球室 (1894 年) 和諸戶家的撞球廳 As far as can be confirmed, the only billiard-only buildings remaining that is standing independently from the other buildings are the Iwasaki residence’s cue ballroom (1894) and this building.
