樹氷 Juhyo『スノーモンスター』Ice (Frost) Covered Trees ‘Snow Monster’
- 八甲田山樹氷の規模・壮観・豪快超過蔵王・八幡平，堪稱日本第一 Hakkoda Mountain Juhyo’s scale, grandeur, and speed exceed those of Zao and Hachimantai, making it the largest in Japan.
- 八甲田山的樹冰與秋田「森吉山」、山形「藏王」並稱為三大樹冰 The frost covered trees of Mt. Hakkoda are considered one of the three major frost covered trees, along with Mt. Moriyoshi in Akita and Mt. Zao in Yamagata.

八甲田滑雪場 Hakkoda Ski Resort
- 以纜車山頂公園站的田茂萢岳山頂為起點，由數條長約 3.5 km ~ 5 km 的滑雪道組成，滑雪的同時除了能觀賞壯闊廣大的樹冰，還可以遠眺北海道。從 11 月下旬至 5 月中旬皆可滑雪。Hakkoda ski resort is made up of several long ski runs of approximately 3.5 km to 5 km starting from the peak of Mt. Tamoyachidake which is the location of the ropeway summit station. The scenery is unique to Hakkoda and skiers can enjoy not only ice covered trees covering a large expanse, but also views of Hokkaido in the distance. It is possible to ski from the end of November through to the middle of May.
