• 坐落於市中心複合型長岡市政廳，最令人印象深刻的是，1 座有採光屋頂供市民活動的中庭廣場，引進自然柔和光線，辦公室大量採用落地玻璃，減少公共建築的隔閡感，另外使用當地「越後杉」的板片相互交疊，創造出廣場內光影交錯的氛圍，賦予傳統公共建築所沒有的溫暖。The Nagaoka City Hall located in the center of the town. The most impressive thing is that there is an atrium square for citizen activities with a lighting roof which introduces natural soft light. Floor-to-ceiling glass is used extensively in the offices to reduce the sense of isolation in public buildings. In addition, local “Echigo Cedar” boards are used to overlap each other to create an atmosphere of interlaced light and shadow in the square, giving it a warmth not found in traditional public buildings.
