- 該建築由丹下健三設計，是首座獲得国際高評価最初の戦後建築 Designed by Kenzo Tange, this building was the first postwar building to receive international acclaim.
- 展示原子彈爆炸所造成的慘狀照片和資料，以及被爆者的遺物，並向眾人傳達 1945 年 8 月 6 日在廣島發生了什麼？ That day, what really happened ynder the mushrooom cloud? The main Building displays personal belongings left behind by the victims and exhibits describing horrible conditions of the A-bomb devastation to convey the events happened in Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.
- B. 東館 East Building
- 除了「引入展覽」、「核武器的危險性」、「廣島的歷史進程」三個展區外，還設立的原爆倖存者證言影片角。此外在 1F 舉辦企劃展、B1F 舉辦最新資料展等。The East Building comprises three parts: “Introductory Exhibit,””The Dangers of Nuclear Weapons,” and “Hiroshima History.” In the East Building, visitors may access video testimonies of the A-bomb victims and the Special Exhibition (1F), and New Arrivals Exhibit (B1).

- 原爆圓頂屋是第 2 次世界大戰末期人類歷史上首次使用原子彈摧毀的建築，原爆圓頂屋幾乎與原子彈投下時的樣子一模一樣，傳達了核武器的悲劇。The Atomic Bomb Dome is a building that was destroyed by the atomic bomb, which was used for the first time in human history at the end of World War II. The Atomic Bomb Dome, which stands almost exactly as it was when the atomic bomb was dropped, conveys the tragedy of nuclear weapons.
