- 位於萩城下町，2015 年 7 月作為明治日本の産業革命遺産被登録為世界遺産 It is located in Hagi Castle Town, which was registered as a World Heritage site as a site of Japan’s Meiji Industrial Revolution in July 2015.
- 選定地区為旧萩城三の丸地區，被稱為堀内，東西約 9 街區 (約 990 m)、南北約 6 街區 (約 660 m)。藩政時代藩の諸官署(御蔵元・御木屋・諸郡御用屋敷・御膳夫所・御徒士所)和毛利一門、永代家臣、寄組等重臣邸宅 The selected area is the former Hagi Castle Sannomaru area, which is called Horiuchi with an area of about 9 blocks from east to west (approximately 990 m) and 6 blocks from north to south (approximately 660 m). During the feudal era, the area was lined with residences of various government offices (Okuramoto, Mikiya, Morogori Goyoyashiki, Gozenbudokoro, Okachijidokoro) and senior vassals such as the Mori clan, Eternal Chief Retainers, and Yosegumi.
