- 関宿位於古代連接京都與江戶交通要道東海道上的一個驛站，保存著 200 多間江戶時代後期至明治時代所建造的古老町家，也是東海道上唯一一處將江戶時期歷史老街完好保存至今的宿場町，由新莊、中町、木崎三個地區組成的 Sekijuku has been preserved as it was during the Edo Period when it was a busy post town on the Tokaido Road route between Tokyo and Kyoto. There are 200 old buildings that were built from the Edo period to the Meji period. - 関宿是指從東追分 (三重県亀山市関町木崎) 到西追分 (三重県亀山市関町新所) 間，全長約 2 km，追分是道路的一個分岔點，大和街道在西の追分分出，伊勢別街道在東の追分岔開，在江戶時代，這條路作為参勤交代和參拜伊勢神宮而繁榮起來 Seki-juku refers to the road about 2 km from Higashi-no-Oiwake (Sekichokozaki, Kameyama-shi, Mie Prefecture) to Nishi-no-Oiwake (Sekichoshinjo, Kameyama, Mie prefecture). Oiwake is a branching point of the road, and Yamato Kaido branches off from Oiwake in the west, and Isebetsu Kaido from Oiwake in the east. During the Edo period, it was prospered for the pilgrims traveling to Ise Jingu and feudal lords changing residences.
