置身充滿異國風情的街道 Hakodate’s Romantic Corridor of Lights
從函館市元町的八幡坂和二十間坂等坡道旁的樹枝都以燈泡裝飾，在彩燈的點綴下，教堂和歷史建築營造出夢幻氛圍，充滿著異國情調。八幡坂是函館最知名也是最美的街道，從坡道的上方，可以眺望遠方的函館港美景，走下坡道後可以欣賞行駛在函館港的摩周丸號。Hakodate’s yearly Illumination event gives visitors a special opportunity to see the city’s nostalgic avenues bathed in a romantic glow. The trees planted on such sloping streets as Hachimanzaka and Nuukkenzaka are outlined with lights. The downtown area, lauded for its churches and well-maintained historical buildings, is transformed into a magical corridor of wintery lights. From Hachiman Slope, the view of the port and illuminated Mashu Maru Memorial Ship docked there is a lovely landscape.
