• 湯西川溫泉是平氏家族在源平戰爭中戰敗流落至此的平家落人所建的集落，平家之里在戰敗 800 年後，也就是 1985 年興建，境內 9 棟移築的茅葺屋頂古民家，有郷土文化傳習館、民藝品加工所、展示館、甘味產品處、無料休憩所等，重現當時的生活場景，以及自古傳承至今的生活用品。After the Genpei War, members of the defeated Heike (or Taira) clan fled, some apparently hiding in Yunishigawa Onsen. Heike Village was set up in 1985, exactly 800 years after Heike was defeated against Genpei. With nine thatched-roof buildings scattered around the vast facility, the village is preserved as an open-air museum where you can learn more about the Heike and their way of life.

• 1. 平家繪卷遊行 Emaki Gyoretsu Procession
• 村民身穿盔甲扮成平家武士和氣質高雅的公主等，從湯殿山神社到平家之里，遊行路線長約 2 公里 Villagers dress up as Heike samurai in armor and elegant princesses and parade about 2 km from Yudonosan-jinja shrine to Heike no Sato.
• 2. 和太鼓 Japanese Drums、薩摩琵琶演奏 Satsuma Biwa Performance「平家物語 The Tale of the Heike」/ 水燈活動 Water Lantern Activities
