- 岩洞湖的釣魚季節，由 11 月開始 5 月結束，期間中可作船享受船釣，1 月中旬至 3 月中旬屬冰釣期間，岩洞湖每年 1 月上旬湖面會結冰，冰的厚度超過 15 cm，可在冰面鑽開直徑約 15 cm 進行冰釣 The smelt fishing season begins in early January and lasts through mid-March, when the ice thickens to more than 15 cm. 位於岩洞湖休憩屋及玉山區藪川的商店及蕎麥麵店等，早上 5 點起開始銷售釣魚券，怕冷或第一次體驗本活動的人建議您搭乘預約制的船隻(每次 ¥ 2000)。公魚最適合以天婦羅或酥炸公魚的烹調法料理 You cut a small hole in the ice with a special drill. For those who do not like cold weather, dome boats are available (with a reservation ¥ 2000). To fish, you need a fishing ticket, which is available after 5 a.m. at the Gandoko Rest House and at various stores in Yabukawa, Tamayama. Smelts are delicious as tempura; if you have a meal at the Rest House, you can also have the fish you caught cooked there.
